Hosting with Us: What’s Included
At 61 Design, we provide high-performance, secure and reliable hosting for your website. When you choose to host your website with us, you’re getting more than just space on a server.
Our hosting is designed specifically for business websites. It ensures your site stays online, performs well, and remains protected from common threats. We use Australian-based servers with fast speeds, robust infrastructure, and proactive management.
Unlike shared hosting environments that can slow your site down, we provide dedicated resources for every website. That means:
Your site is protected around the clock by an advanced Web Application Firewall. It helps block malicious traffic, prevent hacking attempts, and detect malware threats before they become a problem.
Your data is automatically backed up every day. If anything goes wrong, accidental deletions, updates that break functionality, or other issues, there are multiple restore points available.
While we offer premium hosting, some services fall outside of what is included in your hosting fee.
Plugins are small software components that add functionality to your website (e.g. contact forms, sliders, e-commerce). These are often available through third parties and require regular updates for security and compatibility reasons. Plugins can also attract additional fees; sometimes these will be subscription-based.
Important:
Website software (e.g. WordPress, themes, plugins) must be kept up to date to maintain security and performance. Unmonitored website themes, plugins and core software updates are often some of the main reasons websites go down.
Hosting does not include:
These tasks are covered in our Website Care Plan or can be completed as-needed at our hourly rate.
A domain is your website’s address (e.g. yourbusiness.com.au).
Clients are responsible for:
We can provide advice and guidance, but we do not manage domains as part of hosting.
Please note: If your domain expires or is lost due to non-renewal or management issues, any work required to recover, reinstate, or transfer it, including liaising with registrars or domain providers, is not included in your hosting plan and will be billed at our standard hourly rate.
You can cancel your hosting service at any time with 30 days’ written notice.

These Terms & Conditions apply to clients who subscribe to the 61 Design Website Care Plan (also referred to as “the Plan”). By signing up, you agree to the terms outlined below.

While all reasonable care is taken to maintain and secure your website, 61 Design provides no warranty that your website will remain free of issues or vulnerabilities.

By subscribing to the 61 Design Website Care Plan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
To be included in our monthly Website Health Checks, you must actively sign up to the plan. If you do not sign up, it will be considered that you have opted out of this service.
